So Darco's home from Cali.

He got me a starfish!

It's purple. And smells like ocean.

[ mood | happy ]

Well I honestly didn't mean to wait this long to update. I've actually been pretty busy.

I went up to State on Friday night. The drive was a piece of cake, especially with me & Austin's oh-so-amazing explorer CONVOY. My Alkaline Trio cd also helped with the time passage. Anyway, we all went out to dinner at Cosi and it was magnificent as usual. Me and Evan spent the rest of the night together, hanging out like old times. Their dorm is amazing besides the fact that it's like a thousand degrees. But pop a beer in their fridge and you'll be cooled off in no time, I'm sure. Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day so I wanted to get on the road as soon as possible. Driving on a day like Saturday is so exhilerating for some reason...it truly makes me happy. Well I was initially driving home by myself but the guys ended up wanting to tag along so I was in thankfully very good company on the way home.

Saturday night I ended up going up to Camp D to visit my nana and bring Cole home. I ended up staying for quite a while which was great because I was able to spend time with the best goddaughter of all time. Destinee n I are definitely the bomb, I must say. And I couldn't leave for home until I visited Fran, my most favorite grandma-not-related-to-me in the entire universe. Honestly she is the most amazing person ever. Of course we ended up chatting for hours and I wish I could have stayed longer, but I'll be up next weekend to visit again. =]

Sunday the fam went to my aunt's for a going away party for Betty, even though she's not even leaving yet but my family will use any excuse for a party. Turned out to be fun, aunt kat's spinach pie was to dieeee for. She's getting mighty close to nana's.

Monday was Cole's first day of high school so the morning routine was exciting and crazy. I decided to take him myself so we could jam to falloutboy<3 on the way there to chill him out. It was so weird watching him walk into Churchill. Eesh...     After I got home I decided to clean my car hardcore and boy, does it look amazing. Well, as amazing as the hunka junk could look anyway. No, I'm not complaining. =P The rest of the day dragged on...I layed by the pool, took my puppies on a walk and visited Austin at work.

Lame and boring.

Tuesday was basically the best day I've had since probably Warped Tour. Cole n I walked out to my car in the morning before I drove him to school and found a beautiful yellow flower on my windshield. Highly exciting for me, let me tell you, and Cole tried to get out of me who it could have been the entire drive to Churchill.

It was Darco. Of course. I went up to his work later that day and ended up staying for four and a half hours just sitting at the bar, chatting it up with the regulars and watching him be the awesome bartender he is. James n I shared a piece of the most amazing chocolate cake EVER and boy, did we enjoy it. Darco got off about 10 and picked me up asap. I've never gone with anything so spontaneously before. I'm pretty sure my parents thought I'd gone crazy when I hugged them goodnight last night and ran out the door to his car. We had an awesome time, doing nothing but enjoying each other's company.

Today he leaves for Cali. Big bummer, but he'll be back Monday. Can't wait.

That's all for now...

So everyone's gone. Well, obviously not everyone. But all of the people that were planning on leaving, have left.

Things were slow around here for a couple days. I basically sat around eating bon bons and being ultimately depressed. You know. =P

I miss Evan the most. It's weird having someone there for you all the time, right down the street to having them move 75 miles away. We call each other so often now. I'm driving up there on Saturday to visit. Yay.

But I'm getting used to this. Last night I went to Fiamma, this new posh restaurant in Plymouth. There was live jazz, which I love. Plus the musician was a family friend. He even played happy birthday for me on the sax. The entire restaurant clapped for me. He's amazing. =]  (And he's there every Wednesday night. Go check him out.) Davie K is takin me there for dinner in a couple weeks. Should be fun.

I went shopping with my mom this morning. We always have a good time...bought tons of clothes, tried on a zillion shoes, and got fruit sundaes, with frozen yogurt, of course.

And I finally got a job. I'm so excited to be back at Westborn I could do a backflip...maybe. But I love it there, it's great.

So things are going good.

For the most part...

[ mood | busy ]

I went fishing Saturday and caught a fish! A big, fat fish!

I know you're oh-so proud of me. That thing was giant.

Yesterday a bunch of us got together. We've been gathering sooo much more often lately. You know why.

So it's Monday. Eek. That means move-in day for Amy and Evan. Two of my best friends are going away and I'm not that worried. Everyone's ready to go, I think. Summer was perfect.

Today is so busy I can't believe I'm taking time to update. Amy hasn't even started packing so I hafta go over there and kick her ass. And maybe help a lil.

More later.

Oh and Petey's tonight. Be there. =]

I bought a planner today.

Yeah, bought a planner. I had to sacrifice $9.99 because unfortunately they fail to supply you with a planner in college.

COLLEGE.

Two weeks until classes start and even less 'til everyone moves away. Suprisingly, I'm not as freaked out as I thought I'd be at this point. I'm actually pretty stoked. Especially when I scan my schedule and see Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday filled with art classes like drawing and photoshop cs2. Ah, the life of an ar-teest.

But summer is still here and we're all savoring the last couple weeks. Casey had everyone over Sunday night which was so much fun as usual and probably the last time the crew is going to be together for a while. And of course he made pancakes Monday morning.

Things are so exciting nowadays.

'til next time.
