Well I honestly didn't mean to wait this long to update. I've actually been pretty busy.
I went up to State on Friday night. The drive was a piece of cake, especially with me & Austin's oh-so-amazing explorer CONVOY. My Alkaline Trio cd also helped with the time passage. Anyway, we all went out to dinner at Cosi and it was magnificent as usual. Me and Evan spent the rest of the night together, hanging out like old times. Their dorm is amazing besides the fact that it's like a thousand degrees. But pop a beer in their fridge and you'll be cooled off in no time, I'm sure. Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day so I wanted to get on the road as soon as possible. Driving on a day like Saturday is so exhilerating for some reason...it truly makes me happy. Well I was initially driving home by myself but the guys ended up wanting to tag along so I was in thankfully very good company on the way home.
Saturday night I ended up going up to Camp D to visit my nana and bring Cole home. I ended up staying for quite a while which was great because I was able to spend time with the best goddaughter of all time. Destinee n I are definitely the bomb, I must say. And I couldn't leave for home until I visited Fran, my most favorite grandma-not-related-to-me in the entire universe. Honestly she is the most amazing person ever. Of course we ended up chatting for hours and I wish I could have stayed longer, but I'll be up next weekend to visit again. =]
Sunday the fam went to my aunt's for a going away party for Betty, even though she's not even leaving yet but my family will use any excuse for a party. Turned out to be fun, aunt kat's spinach pie was to dieeee for. She's getting mighty close to nana's.
Monday was Cole's first day of high school so the morning routine was exciting and crazy. I decided to take him myself so we could jam to falloutboy<3 on the way there to chill him out. It was so weird watching him walk into Churchill. Eesh... After I got home I decided to clean my car hardcore and boy, does it look amazing. Well, as amazing as the hunka junk could look anyway. No, I'm not complaining. =P The rest of the day dragged on...I layed by the pool, took my puppies on a walk and visited Austin at work.
Lame and boring.
Tuesday was basically the best day I've had since probably Warped Tour. Cole n I walked out to my car in the morning before I drove him to school and found a beautiful yellow flower on my windshield. Highly exciting for me, let me tell you, and Cole tried to get out of me who it could have been the entire drive to Churchill.
It was Darco. Of course. I went up to his work later that day and ended up staying for four and a half hours just sitting at the bar, chatting it up with the regulars and watching him be the awesome bartender he is. James n I shared a piece of the most amazing chocolate cake EVER and boy, did we enjoy it. Darco got off about 10 and picked me up asap. I've never gone with anything so spontaneously before. I'm pretty sure my parents thought I'd gone crazy when I hugged them goodnight last night and ran out the door to his car. We had an awesome time, doing nothing but enjoying each other's company.
Today he leaves for Cali. Big bummer, but he'll be back Monday. Can't wait.
That's all for now...
